You will also join a community of passionate and talented jewellers who will support and inspire you.

  • What are the different types of courses that you offer?

    We offer a range of in-person courses that take place in our studio in Dublin. Some of the courses that we offer include:

    Jewellery skills, Stone setting, Engraving, Enamelling, Sandcasting, Jewellery bench skills (1 year program), Wax carving and many more to be announced. You can also contact us if you have any questions or need any guidance on choosing a course.

  • How much do your courses cost and what are the payment options?

    The cost of our courses varies depending on the type and length of the course. You can see the prices of each course on the booking page on our website. We accept payments by credit card using square payment partner or alternatively you can arrange payment in person after contacting us to arrange this option.

  • Why should I choose your school over other jewellery schools or courses?

    You should choose our school over other jewellery schools or courses because we offer a range of courses that suit different levels, interests, and creative paths. You can choose from courses that last from a few hours to a full year. You can also benefit from our small class sizes, our friendly and supportive environment, and our community-led approach. Our workshops are very well equipped with professional-level tools and machines and our tutors are all experienced makers who work in the trade either in their own businesses or for other workshops.

  • What are some of the success stories of your previous students?

    Really there are so many some of the highlights are students exhibiting their jewellery internationally. Student work showcased in national print and tv. Successfully changing careers to start their own business. Students have been employed by world renowned jewellery houses, and there are the students who have found there little bit of peace, a skill that they excel at having never known it existed students who just find comfort in the detail. All of these achievements may have started at the school but it’s the students own conviction and passion that has led to these achievements.

  • What are the entry requirements and how can I apply for your courses?

    To apply for our courses, you just need to have a keen interest in jewellery making, a respectful attitude towards others, and a good level of English. We welcome students from all backgrounds and walks of life who share our passion for jewellery.

  • What are the dates and times of your courses and how long do they last?

    The dates and times of our courses vary depending on the type and length of the course. Some of our courses are one-day workshops that take place on weekends or weekdays. Some of our courses are longer courses that take place over several weeks or months. You can see the dates and times of each course on our website. The duration of our courses ranges from a few hours to a full year.

  • Where are your courses held and what facilities do you have?

    Our courses are held in our studio in Dublin city centre. Our studio is located at 19 South Anne Street, Dublin 2, D02 YY83. Our studio is fully equipped with all the tools and materials you need for jewellery making. We have workbenches, torches, saws, files, hammers, pliers, drills, polishers, laser welder, gravers, disc cutters, letter punches, enameling kilns, pin polisher, bead tumbler and more… lots more.

  • What age is required to take part?

    Students must be at least 16 years old when attending.

  • What are the class sizes and who are the tutors?

    Our class sizes are small to ensure that you get enough attention and guidance from our tutors. Our class sizes are never more than eight students.

  • Do you provide refreshments?

    Yes we have a small area where you can make a cup of tea/coffee and bring it to your bench. P.s you may get so engrossed in the work your cuppa might go cold!

  • Is your workshop wheelchair accessible?

    No, unfortunately not, our workshop is on the second floor.

  • What skills and techniques will I learn on your courses?

    You will learn a variety of skills and techniques that are essential for jewellery making, but to be specific it’s best to read the summary on each course page to gain a clearer understanding of what you can learn in that specific course.

  • What materials and tools will I need and where can I get them?

    For all of our courses all the tools are provided as we have a well equipped workshop. Materials are either provided or available to purchase in the class for convenience, the course description will provide more information on this in specific courses.

  • How will your courses help me with my career development in the jewellery industry?

    Our courses will help you with your career development in the jewellery industry by providing you with the skills and knowledge that are in demand by employers or customers. You will also gain confidence and credibility as a jeweller by learning from experienced and professional tutors who are active in the trade.

  • I will be away for some of the 9 week course can I make up the time?

    Where possible we will always try to allow you to make up time missed in a class but can not guarantee it if other sessions are fully booked.Please give us as much notice as possible and if we have availability we will offer an alternative class within that term, as classes will not carry over into the next term.

  • Do you sell gift vouchers?

    Yes we do and they can be purchased on the website.

  • Do I need any experience to take a jewellery class?

    These jewellery making classes are suitable for absolute beginners and those with some experience.

    Yes we have a wonderful newsletter that keeps you updated on what’s happening at the school here (see the website footer area to sign up) and our blog goes into deeper detail on different topics and tutorials with reviews and project ideas/
